I aim to deliver quality designs that are beyond just meeting the brief. I want to combine my creativity with my technical design skills.
My professional background began in lighting design, where I designed amenity and road lighting schemes in accordance with BS 5489. Working for D.W. Windsor in Hoddesdon, I developed experience in lighting software, AutoCAD and the technical design of public realm and highway lighting schemes.
I went on to work with a number of local authorities, including Bristol City Council, Kirklees Council and Hampshire County Council, gaining extensive experience in public realm, amenity and street lighting.
I then moved into architecture to pursue my passion for design and the built environment. Architecture allowed me to combine my creative and technical skills with my interest in technology, materials, space and the way people experience buildings.
I studied my Part 1 at the University of Greenwich, followed by my Master's / Part 2 at the University of Portsmouth, and subsequently completed my Part 3 in Practice Management at the University of Portsmouth. I am now an ARB-registered Architect.
I have gained architectural experience working with HDS Architects and Crowther Architects, working across different aspects of architectural design and technical drawing in Residental and Healthcare.
